Ground Breaking residential camping retreat, run alongside other local organisations that will offer valuable and effective services for our Veterans.

The driving force behind this project is our very own Gary Weaving, the founder of FVUK. HIs idea was based on his own experience, and the idea to have somewhere to go where you are with other Veterans who may be experiencing the same issues, somewhere that you can relax and also somewhere that you can re-group, learn new skills and get some of that cameraderie back again.

Our Buddy Scheme is one of our crowning achievements.

The Buddy Scheme is a service where we pair up stronger Veterans with the more vulnerable in our community. The scheme is not just for veterans but also their families as we know the veterans problems impact everyone around them. We have an array of buddies available to suit the needs of the  clients. It is a online or telephone service and in some cases face to face. This builds on the Armed Forces Buddy System that all Veterans are familiar with.

Our Blog Spot is full of interesting historical articles and life journeys.

We have a great selection of military history articles in our Blog Spot, we also have guest writers and life journeys and challenges that people have written and posted. Take a look today, you might be inspired, and who knows maybe you have a story to share with us?
